TIMELINES are for everyone

Updated: Feb 22

It is tough to become a father..., not biologically. But by action.

Every action of yours, impacts the child. Right, Wrong, Good, Bad, whatever you do your child absorbs. Hence being a Father you need to become exemplary; IF you expect some exemplary achievements from your child.

For example you want your son to wake up early in morning and go jogging..., hmmm socho socho..., can you afford to cuddle in bed expecting your child to be in jogging shoes? Or lets assume you want your son not to be on tabs or lappy all the time..., what you need to do then? Yes cut yourself off from your phone & social media.

Similar is the situation when you assign works to your associates or vendors. You can not remain just a client..., you need to become an example. Prove to your vendor that you also respect timelines and give approvals or payments as per scheduled timelines. But no..., if delay is from our side we would like to take that advantage of our upper hand position BUT if it is the vendor, we will choke him to death on deadline.

Phew...!

LEAD BY EXAMPLE, Isn't it taught now a days also? But seems many only read and do not imbibe the essence of the same.

So next time we assign timelines let's be like father figures. Be upright at your end..., and your vendors will follow your footsteps. And in case they don't..., then you have all the rights to use the wrath of a father too.

Let's do Happy Business and be Happier Business Heads.
